Fall has fallen here. Oh I must be trying out cute today. If it impressed you like it did me both of us are embarrassed. Friday is finally here and I am planning on doing pretty much the same as I have been doing for the past week, very little of anything. I know some of you know what I am talking about but most don't. I really do thank all of you so very much. Don't know if I will take this seriously but I don't know any time other than my own. Today was a lovely day down South nice warm. It is the warm up before we get the real cold later this week. I really can't think of anything to write about I am in full blown fibromyalgia episode. I have several nostalgic stories of childhood in the 30s and 40s. I thought I might try to sell them in a group but I don't know what anybody would think of such. Will you take a read of this one and just give me your honest opinion. I have only presented something for publishing twice and both times they were published. My beautiful little step granddaughter is about to step onto a ramp to reap the benefits of career chasing for so long. She went away to boarding school very early has studied so carefully, kept a great attitude about life and knew early what she wanted to do. She graduated college three years ago with a big desire to work in film making particularly in Israel. Are you one of us people who see words as much as we hear them? I think words that end in O look odd. Hello, Polo, Jello etc. they simply look as if they were unfinished. I think it is because of the roundedness of them that is of course not present on letters ending in t or r such as net or for. These words look normal and appear not significant but they are. Well all is looking much brighter today. About half of the fire ant bites are healed, the black spots are turning to lighter shades of purple and the real scrapes are healed over. I am ready for a game of, or, well maybe reading. We have nice fresh hot water and I am looking at all cleaning chores in a new light. That clean includes myself. Well I don't know if your plumber told you that the hot water tank should be emptied yearly or not. We did not know that. Last night and today have been fun times. You see ours burst last night. George removed it today and attempted to drain it under the car port, it would not drain. It was a dirty mess of sludge. When he made a purchase of a new tank and talked with his friend at the Building Supply store he informed George that all water tanks should be emptied once yearly. Tanks have a tap on... I have come into Wiley's league it appears. Wednesday evening we went to a Bible Study and when we came out into the parking lot I showed-out for sure. It was raining lightly and George was holding an umbrella over both of us, carrying his books and Bible and I was carrying my books and Bible. We had parked in an upper area of the parking lot. Sundays are always very full days for us and by the time dinner rolls around we just kick back and rest. That is what we were doing for dinner tonight, listening to Jim Croce and having simple homemade Ruben sandwiches. Nothing fancy, nothing one has to do a lot of thinking about happens after 4 p.m. on Sunday around here. We both love Jim Croce and our favorite is 'Time in a Bottle'. If we watch the news lately we find it has lost it's ability to tell the truth, nothing but the truth whomever it may take to task or anger. So I mostly tend to my own knitting these days. I have been for weeks using a cane and still having a hard time walking. The last time i went to the doctor my pain medication was increased from two to three per day. We are about to leave to visit our lovely people in the Nursing home. Today we will talk about how they are to love themselves, forget any negative of the past, embrace the present in love and joy. Jesus is not a God of horror, meanness or punishment but of joy, goodness and uplifting. Any shame, sorrow or any kind of regret is taken by him when you invite him to be the Lord of your life and it is never brought up again unless you do and you should not do so. I was called late yesterday telling me there was a space for my other overnight stay in the sleep disturbed resort. I took it. I slept away from home last night and tried out all the air hook-ups etc., No I did not like it. Yes I slept all night and have slept all day as well but hopefully this is the last of the trial stuff. I could have it worse, it could be that I needed to be connected to a tank. Early today a cousin of mine called and invited me to lunch with her and another cousin. These are the nearest to family I have. We were little together. We share lots and lots of memories. We went to lunch and shopped all the thrift shops in the area. Found fun things that we did not need or want really but bought anyway because we had no other reason to go there. As all of you know I am a Christian. I may or may not fit your concept of what a Christian is because there are so many different viewpoints, denominations and the Catholics and Protestants. Me I am a Book Christian a Christian by the Bible. My job as a Christian in my way of thinking is not, I say not to go 'round judging all those who believe this or that or not at all. I really do know how to have fun. There are times when you may need a few new ideas to throw a really good party, so you get help. I know those who really know how to have fun, and at other's expense. These that come to mind are doctors, lawyers and Indian Chiefs. I have not met an Indian Chief in some time now but doctors and lawyers I have contact with. Today I went back to my Pulmonary doctor. We broke the heat barrier. It is 72 degrees with a light wind and feels like a reprieve from the hot place. George is off today and he is out mowing and loving this cool breeze. I went to the Farmer's Market this morning and bought some lovely tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers etc., because I don't expect to be able to buy fresh much longer except wonderful apples.
