My goodness. That is so terrible. What an experience for you. I am so glad that you are able to write about it. I hope everything clears up really quickly. There was one part of this that I just loved--the idiom "showed-out". My Dad always used that term. He was always telling us when we were young to "quit showing out". I sure miss him.

I do know exactly how George felt. The fright brings on a reaction which displays itself as anger. Just angry because it has happened to the person most dear in the whole World...and unfortunately, there is very seldom a graceful fall. Never a swooning romantically into your mans arms and if one did swoon into his arms, chances are he would fall with the weight.

Poor George he was probably more worried than he made out. It is funny how stones crop up when one falls. It would not be so bad if it was a pillow. I am glad that it was no worse,I expect you will take the longer route next time.
