REVISIONQUEST

The word I want won't come to me. Probably a metaphor, it lives inside a wordstore my thesaurus doesn't know. I use its plain-meant sense, I'm sure, a hundred times a day, yet miss the unplanned chemistry all ready to combust. Some day a spark may arc the gap, the limp may go away, the puzzle... DACHSHUNDS HAVE THIS THING

We walked our dachshund through the zoo so we could watch the interplay. Head erect, he just returned the regal lion's narrowed stare and watched the tigers imitate his liquid way of taking stairs. A MAGIC SPACE

Some April trick of 6 AM had filled the pond brimful with velvet fog - a carpet made of gently undulating featherlight and level mist fit for lightfoot fairies dancing, had the moonlight only stayed.
