Re: Hard to say, Jay. A blazing case of shingles over my left ear

has left me with poor balance and a lot of time to kick back and write again when I'm not stoned on Advil.  I'll be okay in another week or two (I first showed symptoms on April Fool's Day.  Go figure.)  Hope all is well.

Time to flip a coin, I think.

Re: A dilemma for sure! I'm reminded of Yogi Berra's useful dictum:

"When you come to a fork in the road, take it."

I thought it was, 'well why do it at all' Yes Bob I think you must reconsider this. Once during the second world war, I cannot remember exactly where it was, the country had been taken over by the Japanese and the bank manager of a certain bank, had this dilemma, he had transferred a large sum of money from the bank to a neutral country, it was not underhanded, they were owed this sum. He had notification that all money was to be frozen and did not know if he should tell the commander who was a very formidable

figure, that this transaction had taken place   .He deliberated all through a sleepless night and decided to to take a chance and say nothing,  The commander stalked into the bank the next morning, the bank manager  humbly proceeded with his affairs and the deed was not noticed. How would he would have told the tale?
