Suddenly Gone

Okay, one more meloncholy poem and then i'm back to the story of Crystal. I wrote this poem after my mom passed and I remember me, my brother, my sister, and my aunt all sitting around the kitchen table at about three in the morning, staring blankly at each other and asking, what we were supposed to do now? We had been so busy in the days before she passed and then in an instant time was standing still and nobody knew what to do. It was the strangest feeling I've ever had. So what did I do...?... A Mothers Words

I wrote this poem some years after my mother passed, reflecting on my teenage years, how I was, how I am, what I've learned, my own children, and the mother I am today because of her. I guess we all have complaints and resentments stemming back into our childhood about how we were parented, but in the end, as we mature and have children of our own, hopefully, we understand. I'm not discounting fathers(honey), but since I'm not one, I can only speak from a mother's pov. When I was young, you were... Sign in to see full entry.

A Thanksgiving Tribute To Moms Everywhere

Happy Thanksgiving to all the mothers out there who are busy putting their hearts into a feast for those she loves. For those of you who still have your mom's around don't forget to give a big hug and say thank you. It goes a long way. We never know what we have til it's gone. A mother is a mother no matter the kind A deeper love you'll never find It doesn’t matter if she’s the one who gave birth Her love will stay with you all your days on this earth In her eyes you’re perfect, you can do no... Meet Jody

MAKING MONEY PART SEVEN After clocking out at the hospital that evening, Crystal felt especially exuberant. For the first time since her divorce from John, her bank account was not dangerously close to being overdrawn, all of her bills were paid, and she had enough money to give Jody for helping her so much with the kids. She knew Jody wouldn't want to take money from her, but Crystal also knew Jody had money problems of her own; she was on social security disability resulting from a violent... Crystal continued...

The story starts up where it left off in part five, telling more about the relationship between Jody and Crystal. Making Money Part Six One particularly difficult day after grocery shopping, the kids were acting up; they were tired and Crystal was emotionally drained from an argument earlier in the day with John, about the lack of interest he’d had in his own children until, that is, he found out how much was going to come out of his pocket to help support them. That’s when the harassment began.... Sign in to see full entry.

Crystal...

MAKING MONEY PART FIVE Crystal barely made it to work on time, if it hadn’t been for Jody taking the kids to daycare she would have surely been late. Crystal thought about how much she owed Jody for being such a good friend and began reflecting on the first time they had met. After Crystal and John were married they had decided to move to Santa Rosa, California from San Francisco. It seemed a better place to raise kids. They had a small apartment, just big enough for the two of them, and when... Sign in to see full entry.

WARNING MATURE READERS ONLY...! STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT AND LANGUAGE

Making Money Part Four Crystal sat in front of her computer, unable to move. She was still feeling the aftermath of the most intense orgasm she'd had to date and was a little stunned at the abruptness of which the session ended. After a few minutes she got up and made her way to the bathroom to shower. She knew she should be feeling some guilt or shame over what had just taken place, but she didn't. Looking in the mirror, at her smeared makeup, the curl which had fallen out of her hair from the... Sign in to see full entry.

WARNING MATURE READERS ONLY...! STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT AND LANGUAGE

This installment of the story gets a little more into the character of Crystal. It also gets a bit more sexual. I say this to give the reader the option of stopping here. If graphic sex scenes are offensive to you, please don't read. However, if you've kept up with the previous chapters and like what you've read so far, please continue. I apologize if this chapter is a bit long, but I couldn't really stop it any sooner and keep the flow. Thank you in advance to those of you who are hanging in... Sign in to see full entry.

WARNING MATURE READERS ONLY...! STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT AND LANGUAGE

Making Money Part two The next night after she’d put the kids to bed she logged onto her web page, which was created by the porn site when she opened the account. There she was. Her face framed in a little box. She hadn't expected to have to take a picture. Her long auburn hair was hanging down both sides of her shoulders, the picture was so small her green eyes didn't show up and she still had on her scrubs from the hospital. Crystal, how do you expect to attract any clients looking like that?... Sign in to see full entry.

WARNING MATURE READERS ONLY...! STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT AND LANGUAGE

This is the story I had mentioned in an earlier post. It's an erotic fictional tale of a young mother, much like many young mothers in today's society, stuggling with a mundane, low paying job, who discovers the power of the internet and takes the saying, "a mother will do whatever needs to be done to support her children." to a whole new level. She also discovers a new sense of her sexuality and a freedom she's never known before. I've tried to keep this story realistic while still preserving... Sign in to see full entry.

A LESSON LEARNED...

Being a mother has been the most rewarding thing I have ever done. It’s said that motherhood is a thankless job, and it is, they say it’s hard work, long hours, and little pay, and it is, but it is also a joy. I have learned more about myself from my kids than I ever imagined possible. I have told this story many times throughout the years for a couple of reasons. One being, that it was such an eye opening moment for me that I wanted to share it with others in the hopes that it would make them... Sign in to see full entry.

On The color scheme...

Okay, my friends, I got the message and have compromised. I've changed the background to white to accomodate readers, but left my sidebar with some color for me. Thank you for your feedback and for being forthright and honest. I appreciate it. Authors, Writers, Poets, and more... As authors, writers, poets, and such, We often write words that don’t mean very much. Ratings, stars, the almighty review, Are empty and meaningless if they don’t represent you. We’re teachers, prophets, counselors, and... Sign in to see full entry.

HAPPY SAMHAIN

Samhain (pronounced Sow-en), dates back to the ancient Celts who lived 2,000 years ago. Contrary to what some believe, is not a celebration of a Celtic god of the dead. Instead, it is a Celtic word meaning "summer's end." The Celts believed that summer came to an end on October 31st and the New Year began on November 1st with the start of winter. But the Celts also followed a lunar calendar and their celebrations began at sunset the night before. Today the summer comes to an end and with it we... Sign in to see full entry.

POT CALLED THE KETTLE BACK

Pot called the kettle black pot was hurt when kettle shot back pot couldn’t take the reprimand and said kettle just didn’t understand Kettle said, “What makes you think you’re better than me look in the mirror; it’s you you’ll see” Pot looked in the mirror and to its surprise what kettle had said was right before pots eyes The moral to this story is old and wise what we see in others begins inside our very own eyes So before you tell others what you see in them ask yourself from where it really... The final shove...

I just hate it when people say, "That's just who I am" and use it as an excuse for unacceptable behavior. This poem was written with that in mind. Hope you enjoy it. Have a great weekend all! Angry voices Hurtful words Crashing, smashing Character bashing Slamming doors Broken hearts Sleepless nights Too many fights Hiding, sneaking Keeping secrets Being who you are Has gone too far Taking, breaking Stealing, faking The final shove In the name of love Sign in to see full entry.

A LOVERS DANCE

warning: This poem is sexual and sensual in it's content. It describes the essence of making love. If you're at all uncomfortable with being taken into the mind of a lover enthralled with pleasing and teasing his/her partner, skip over this unrhymed poem. Should you choose to stay and read, thank you and I hope you know it and enjoy it. Close Your eyes lover Close Your Eyes and feel my touch Feel my fingers trailing over Your body My hand touching You as I lean closer My lips kissing You as I... Sign in to see full entry.

This is really just a silly and fun poem on an alternative lifestyle. Most people probably don't partake in this sort of play and those who do would probably never admit it, yet here it is. What we don't know about people would amaze us. This could be your nieghbor, your friend, or even a family member, ya just never know. Have fun with it and don't take it too seriously. I am your Domme You must do as I say Ask my permission To clean where I lay. Bow down at my feet You pathetic subhuman You’re... Sign in to see full entry.

Unfortunately, some of you feel the words in this poem. If you are one of those people know that there is hope. If you can find the strength to crawl out of the darkness, light waits on the other side where life and love can be so much better. Thank you in advance for the read and comments. I wish I could write one of those mushy love poems That speaks of happiness and love ever after The kind that makes the young long to fall in love And the old walk hand in hand through eternity I have come to... THE PROPHETESS

I speak the truth and show no fear no matter what it costs because of this I must confess they call me The Prophetess I’ve been given a gift from who knows where be it evil or be it good I tell the truth and don’t distress, I am The prophetess The bible calls women sinners our hearts are snares and nets but man will do almost anything to see a woman undress The bible says I’m a sinner, full of wickedness to that I say, it’s okay, I am The prophetess Sign in to see full entry.

What do you do...

Abusive relationships seem to be an epidemic these days. This poem was written to call attention to the cycle and hopefully give the message that the cycle not only can, but must be broken. What do you do... When the uttered words don’t make a difference, And time becomes part of a waiting game, With everything seemingly staying the same. What do you do when none of it matters anymore? When the silence explodes with screaming emotion When the distance grows, built with walls of steel And the... Sign in to see full entry.
