Pixiechonk seems pleased I'm back where she wants me: When I woke this morning she was, as usual, behind my knees and I could hear her purring! We actually made it from Socorro NM to Colorado Springs in something around 7 hours. The sky was clear all the way to Colorado, and the deep cold eased up through the day from the teens into the 30s.
