Winter is in sight...
Last week's snow on the mountain disappeared quickly, but there is more up there now, quite a lot more. Yes, summer is coming to a close. Something in the light of the day changes as the sun moves down the sky southward, as days grow noticeably shorter, dawns coming on later. I've seen no color change in the trees in this area, but snow on the heights means frost lower down, and that means the leaves will begin to go autumn colors.
