The DMV opens at 8am. I was there at 8:30, and out by 9, mission accomplished. Interesting warning: When you apply the tabs to the license plate, score the tab several times with a razor blade. This makes it difficult for tab thieves to peel it off. I didn't realize tab thieves were a thing. There is a cafeteria at the El Paso County Services building that is part of making a trip there.
