All seems well, live things still living, and the flicker still pounding his wee bird brain out on the side of the house... Alice and Crumpet are lively as ever, perhaps they are glad to have me back again to sit by them and give them cardboard tubes and stuff... I brought home a cold, first I have had in ages.
