Waking early...
I woke from a dream of being at the wedding reception of two friends, and being asked what I would be doing at the mic. All their friends were singing or doing other stuff in their honor at the open mic--a nice thing to have at a wedding reception, but one fraught with risk, should that uncle who shows up at every family event--full of dreadful jokes, off-base anecdotes, rants and maybe prat falls--show up and grab the mic.
