The costumer is new and young and I guess it didn't occur to her to crack a book, or go online to research the styles of the 1920s. She just toured the thrift stores and came back with... stuff. The stage manager who wrote one of the three plays in the production, and came to me to read and edit, asked me to take a look at the selected costumery.
