It's lovely to get it right. I did indeed find many people pleased indeed to meet an editor/writing coach who would rather work for a noob writer, and get paid a little and respected, than for a publisher who... I will say no more about. But, interestingly, one of the first people I handed my card to, happens to be a publisher. His company, a small press, he says is always looking for editors.
