It's May, it's May!
Soft and warm and welcoming the world that greets me coming out my door all tensed for chill and damp... All at once the lilacs are in bloom and fill the yard with rich perfume and color bright and fine... A tinny drone I hear and know the hummingbirds are back with their tiny attitudes-- vibrant gems divine! All tension melts away in the gentle touch of sun and so I smile...
