Feeling very Mondayish
It's raining out there... a gentle rain, a 'female' rain as the Hopi identify it, that soaks in quietly and then rises up through the roots, the stems and leaves of the plants that went into the ground a few days ago. This is what they've been waiting for! After nearly 35 years in the Puget Sound area, I got quite used to lots of grey days, lots of rain. One of the attractions of Colorado Springs has always been the sunshine, so much that days of overcast and rain become welcome and enjoyable.... Sign in to see full entry.
