New babies: acalypha
I haven't seen it anywhere for years: a-ka-LIFE-ah, red chenille plant! I found two of them to bring home a couple of days ago. It is of tropical origins, and loves high humidity and ever-damp but draining soils. That's what I learned today, looking up the how-to-care-for details. I imagine it isn't common in Colorado which is noted for its not-tropical climate. In fact, humidity can get to single digits here in summer. So, probably here, a great bathroom plant!
