Embers Report on Groundhog Day
I may have mentioned before that Embers likes to sleep on whatever part of me is most elevated when I sleep. This morning it was my shoulder, and she did not want to get off when I roused myself to get up. In fact, she remained on my shoulder, making gravitational adjustments as necessary, while I meandered around the house and looked out the living room window at the snow that is falling today, and said good morning to the 'keets, and started breakfast.
