New Year's Eve 2016
The day dawns quietly, all rosy and gold across the landscape, and the air is still and cold. Baroque music plays gently on the radio, and there is the sound of moving water from the fish pond by the front door, the soft sound of the heating bringing the house up to warm enough. The radio is on Colorado Public Radio, one of the two classical stations here in the Springs. The signal gets a bit fuzzy sometimes, but that is better than Fred.
