poor puppy!
Ripley is not a small dog: he is some sort of mastiff-cross with a big head and a lanky body. German shepherd is likely another large part of Ripley. Ripley suddenly was walking three-legged night before last, not whimpering--just not walking on his back right leg. His brother dog, Cooper, has had torn cruciate tendons of both his hind legs, repair of which cost thousands of dollars in surgeries.
