10 AM Sunday Oct 28, 2012 Washington DC There's a little breeze kicking up outside the 2nd floor window where I sleep. Is this the first of the big storm? The sky is all cloud, and that is part of the mass we see in the satellite images. Later... No, it was just a breeze. The air is still now, leaves undisturbed. Funny how we get all hurricane-minded, knowing what's coming, seeing dire and portentous signs in the everyday things. Evening... Circuit breaker went out just now... everyone runs...
