Davy and I have been taking walks in the woods.
Around here, it is a lovely deep woods, the Pacific NW rainforest: beautiful trails through tall trees and lush ferns, beard-ish mosses hanging from branches, wonderful and strange fungi all of a sudden nearly underfoot... I spotted one today that should have been growing on a log, but it was just emerging from the ground, and it had an ivy leaf growing above it, but the stem of the ivy had grown up through the edge of the fungus.
