Calm & neutrality sometimes have to be a very conscious choice... Grounding and centering help one to be there, but sometimes it seems to be a matter of having your conscious Self calm and neutral, while watching the kids-- the parts of you that whoop it up with excitement, and carry your outward self along with them.
