I've been reading the translation, recently published by National Geographic, of the Gnostic document, the Gospel of Judas. The document is translated in a small volume with the history of the Gospel- how this particular copy was found, restored and authenticated, as well as what is known about the original composition. There are also several commentaries discussing its contents, and how it relates to both traditional orthodoxy and other Gnostic branches of Christianity. I am fascinated to...
