It ain't what you believe that'll get you into trouble...

It's what you believe that just ain't so! (with a tip o' the hat to Will Rogers Jr. ) There is not much we can truthfully say we know. We can talk about beliefs until the ducks come home, but when we start saying we know something, we are really only saying we really, really strongly believe, and intend to act as if it's true!
