How do you know when you are reading the Bible

that you are, in fact, reading the Bible? It's all very well to say that the Word of God is Inspired, so it must be Right. But maybe not: Inspiration I have no argument with, but I know also that the Light of true Inspiration comes to a writer's fingertips through layers of filters and Parts (as mentioned also in previous posts in this place) that distort and obscure and cast long shadows... Financially secure Mediums are rare, even when their work is well-done...

To continue yesterday's discussion... One of the things we can all do, is to sense when we are being lied to. Obviously, it is a field left fallow in our culture: we believe--a taught belief layered upon us by generations of autority telling us we can't know what's good or best or true for us, that God does not speak to each of us, that we are, in fact, gullible nitwits, " but trust us because we are your leaders, your doctors, your priests..."
