Talion, for your mother from me:

My dad, the scientist, recounted a couple of incidents in his life that qualified as precognitive vision, once, and the other, just an impulse.  And another experience when he knew he was not alone.  As a scientist, he does not know what they were, but he knows they happened.  He has not explored them, but he has not tossed them aside, either.

Talk of psychics and mediums and such elicit an immediate, knee-jerk response from me of either some scatterbrained new-ager drifting in their own world, or Ms. Cleo type con artists with 900 numbers, preying on the new-agers mentioned above. This occurs despite the fact that my mother has always had these "feelings," these unexplainable beliefs that something dire was on the horizon. Despite the fact that once while seated on a plane, just before takeoff, she suddenly decided to get off, convinced the stranger sitting next to her to do the same. The plane later crashed killing everyone aboard. (Yes, it sounds like that movie "Final Destination," but I assure you, it's true.) It angered my brother and me when we were growing up, frustrated us because our actions and freedoms were limited, based on something as ridiculous as these "feelings." When we were adults, old enough not to need her permission to go about our ways, we scoffed these "feelings" of hers, ignored them. Each time we did, lo and behold, something dire transpired. Nothing life or death, but definitely uncomfortable, definitely avoidable had we not been in that wrong place at that wrong time. To this day, I still don't hold stock in such things, but if my mother calls me on the phone and tells me about one of her "feelings," I stay home. I bitch about it, rant and rave about the silliness of it all, but I stay home.

There's a new topic for this blog... What tools a psychic needs, or not...

Ciel, I'll have to check those out...I've been reading a very interesting

book that discusses the old testament stones in Aaron's breastplate, the Umin and Thurmin and other objects that were used by the Israelites, as directed by God, to communicate with Him and get answers they sought...it's very interesting and a bit controversial.  It sort of supports the idea that crystals and other stones indeed have frequencies associated with different purposes.  Most Christians think that's New Agey, but the fact is, the Bible is loaded with these interesting tidbits of info, if one but search.

I appreciate having someone here who is both open to the Bible and to energy and frequencies (science.)

By the way, I spent yesterday afternoon trolling in biblical waters...
John 10:14, after  John 14: 12, in the New International Version...

Ciel, excellent follow-up to yesterday's post. For years I felt I had to
dumb down my "senses" to avoid being labeled, if you know what I mean.  It's nice to see someone is on the same wavelength as I am on this topic.
