Travel fever

This is the strangest thing. I, who am used to travel the world by plane at a moment's notice and never think twice about it, have a serious case of travel fever this morning. And I'm only going by coach and not even alone. But, I have never been for 12 hours on a coach before and somehow this feels... Sign in to see full entry.

It's all in the perspective

Yesterday something happened which from the onset looked bad, but turned out to have a good side to it. It all depends on your outlook, something we should never forget. What happened is this: since about 5 days my left foot hurt and gave me trouble walking. I knew I hadn't broken or twisted... Sign in to see full entry.

vogue is shrinking

In case you wonder, there is now only this blog and many entries, particularly those with pictures have been deleted. The reason is simply that many get converted into travel articles and I can't risk that they get rejected because they have already been 'published.' In future I'll of course still... On the one hand I'm quite pleased because I will have a chance to show them around and we will go on many... Sign in to see full entry.

She was all excited, because she and her Dad have been traced by a geneologist who was looking for relatives of a lady in Germany who died... Sign in to see full entry.

After the crash - good news

It's really true, there always is a silver lining. I was truely depressed after the computer died on me this morning. However I 'm already finding my way around the new one and I just got a mail from the curator of the history museum in Miami. He told me that he could see me on Friday and show me... Intelligence test for senior citizens!

It's this time of the year where we tend to take stock of the past year in preparation for the resolutions for the next, which ususally are forgotten once the New Year Party hangover has faded. Anyway, whilst taking a break from all that article, writing I came across an 'intelligence test for... Sign in to see full entry.

Living in the clouds

Yesterday I woke up and thought I had gone to heaven. It was one of those magical mornings, when my condo, being quite high up, was entirely surrounded by mist, fog and clouds. Everything had disappeared or was only visible in vague shapes, clouds were drifting by and my fanatsies ran riot. I just... Sign in to see full entry.

Did anyone publish with wordclay?

Thanks very much for the suggestions. I'm checking them all out. However, wordclay also looks quite good to me, so I would be grateful if anyone who has published with them would kindly share their experience. Sign in to see full entry.
