A mere technicality
I want to share something with you which makes me laugh. My friend Maureen has a unique way of dealing with disasters and mishaps. Whether she breaks a plate or her house is burning down (metaphorically speaking) she just puts on a big grin, shrugs her ample shoulders and says: "So what? It's a mere... Sign in to see full entry.

The tourist season being over, I ventured ona group outing. The minimum was 5 and that's how many we were.... Sign in to see full entry.

He is impressed with Madrid Barajas airport and particularly with a last generation computer which identifes people walking in front... Sign in to see full entry.

A visit to the Turkish bath
A few days ago, I told you about the excess physical exercise I felt a need for to see just how far I could push myself. As was to be expected such enterprise didn't go unpunished and I dcided to work out the kinks by a visit to a Turkish bath. I have never been before. When in Europe, I love to go... Long title, brief post, but I feel the need to remind you all, that blogit is an international community, which means one should be a bit careful not to post entries which could hurt the feelings of a blogger from another nationality. I am referring to one blog in particular, but will not name... Sign in to see full entry.

Some reflections on the meaning of "home"
On the verge of moving from one home to the next I started thinkin about what "home" means to different people. This thought was further nourished by the fact that, again, somone felt called upon to uncharitably remark on my domestic deficiency, whereupon my friend Maureen, God bless her, came to my...
