Painting

I've just lost a lot of text that I wrote and I feel this entry may have lost some of its spontenaity but lets see. I spent most of yesterday cutting in colour around the ceilings, corners, door frames and skirting (baseboard) in what used to be my daughter's room, and as I went I dabbed some paint... In a muddle

I realise it is always an exercise in futility, but two days ago I spoke to my husband and told him there was water seeping down a cold water pipe and that I would need to call in a plumber and would he please put some money into the account. Better

I don't want another day like yesterday. Oh what a beautiful day

About this Blog

I started this blog in 2006, round about the time my 28-year marriage was unravelling. It was difficult for all concerned, even for my ex who handled the situation about as badly as it’s possible to do. The damage is still emerging, when I least expect it. The children are adults and both now live with their father in Australia. After the divorce, the future initially looked bright. It still does, although there are a number of complications. I have a new relationship to nurture, sometimes thrown into confusion through my daughter’s negativity when she visits. I’m a member of the church choir, which is really important to me. I think I’m happy, apart from those moments of conflict and opposition that we can all do without. Time will tell. To quote William Shakespeare: O time, thou must untangle this, not I. It is too hard a knot for me t'untie
