MLM The nightmare continues

MLM The nightmare continues I think what grabs me about this pyramid scheme is the idea that its automated. If you are a lazy B………. like me, you want to do as little possible for the maximum gain. So I’m drawn to the idea for this very reason. All the evidence points in the opposite direction, and everyone I’ve asked for an unbiased opinion, have said Don’t do it! But why do I have this nagging feeling that I’m drawn towards it? Everything else I’ve tried has run aground. At 47 I know that... Sign in to see full entry.

MLM

MLM I’m seriously thinking of joining a pyramid scheme to try and make some money. Even though I know all the answers about how wrong this is, I’m faced with no other option but to consider it. I now have nothing to lose. Working in this terrible job at the supermarket, and Ebay not making enough, I will never get out the rut. I know anyone reading this will recoil in horror, but believe me, there is no where left to go. Steve UK. Sign in to see full entry.

Small worlds

Small worlds Just brought a small laptop, and a real antique, but in the hope that I can sit and write in bed. Now you might be thinking: “lazy Ba……….!” But with work, there are not enough hours in the day to do all this, and the final minutes before I fall asleep are sometimes the only time I have. I used to enjoy the time writing, and hope to get the novel back on track. I would love the idea of putting it online to make money there. But there are so few places. No one ever looked at it on... Sales

Sales It seems that selling books and working is all that happens to me. Sold some strange books. One on princess Grace of Monaco. Couldn’t believe anyone would be interested but there you go. The Follyfoot books sold as I thought, because it’s a timeless children’s interest, and parents must buy the kids the DVD’s. I knew Band of Brothers would sell. Joined Critters.org, only to find that I’m still on it through my Yahoo account, which I don’t bother with and has emails backed up in the... Sign in to see full entry.

If only

If only Ebay has picked up to the point where you wish this was your job. If I could make this amount of money every day my troubles would be over. But of course the lows outweigh the highs. I must admit that I’m excited about the idea of trying to get the novel going again. The Literacy agency I once used turned out to be a con man who has done so much damage that there is even a support group dedicated to those trying to get over it! But I have been promising myself this dream of getting... Sign in to see full entry.

Books and success!

Books and success! Just watched J K Rowling and the Harry Potter saga on TV. I wish her all the best as she seems like a lost soul in a work she does not understand and has no control over. Maybe a little mad in the first place, she could not handle the success of a Mills and Boon book let alone this. But I think she had just turned off from it. Which brings me to an old chestnut plucked form the fire. What if I tried to get my books published? Now I have sweated a lot of blood on this, and... Sign in to see full entry.

Arialas’ Idea

Arialas’ Idea One of the top writers on Blogit, has shared with us how she makes a living from writing. I’ve bleated on about this before and don’t want to waste time on it now. But Associated Content means you have to write on their boring subjects. I wanted to pick my own subject and wanted it to be on something I’m working on. So I came up with the idea of writing a blog on what you would spend your lottery winning on. It had to read like a fantasy I was experiencing. All the books tell you... Sign in to see full entry.

Ever wondered?

Ever wondered? Have you ever had one of those awful jobs where you can’t wait to leave? Well I have the dilemma of facing such a task. Only I want to leave something behind, something for my friends, and I do have a few there. Let me explain. I had to work with a boy who was a real pain in the ass! I mean he was simple minded but didn’t know it. So he was filled with a sense that he was somehow superior to everyone else. You could have no sympathy for this one. Now I will stand for the 3 card... Sign in to see full entry.

Long days short nights

Long days short nights Few entries at the moment as I’m having to do early starts 5 am to 2pm. So not much incentive to do write much of anything. Sad news from Pakistan about Butto. Sure she was corrupt, but she was a link with the western world. On a better note, my lottery scheme is shaping up. Some good ideas. Positive thinking. Want to get a site together about people who win the money and how they spend it. If that isn’t positve enough I don’t know what is. Weather too mild for mid... Sign in to see full entry.

Next Generation?

Next Generation? I wonder what the next generation of computer and broadband will hold? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/default.stm In all honesty I think we are up to speed with what we want. The next step would be to make it the net like an interactive TV set, with people being able to talk to each other as if on a screen. At present internet phones and cams are too slow and lagging, so to make the quality better is an obvious next step. But what then? We might want a sharpness on a... Sign in to see full entry.
