Thanks for anyone who looked at me synopsis. The dilemma now is should I blitz the web site with a few pages, or point to someplace folks can read it like an e-book? I know people find lots of text on a web page much of a muchness. But few are going to want to read a huge chunk of eboook. Steve Sign in to see full entry.

Synopsis: Lottery Dreams
Synopsis: Lottery Dreams This is a brief description of a story I put together several years ago. There was not even a national Euro lottery in those days. So you can see that I would have to change a lot of it to get it up and running. If it gets you even slightly interested please let me know. This is the story of a group of simple working class men who win the lottery. You follow them on their adventure through the hell of factory life, with its crushing boredom, to the heady heights of... Sign in to see full entry.

Selling Web sites
Selling Web sites I’m very cheered by a resent look at the sitepoint marketplace. After corresponding with a few of the regulars, it seems you can write and sell web sites as long as you are sensible and not too greedy. They will buy a site even though it does not make a lot of money, all they need it the traffic. Now many people are put off viewing sites because the owners thrust the messages down your throat. It’s obvious they just want your money and give little back in information or... Sign in to see full entry.

Novel ideas
Novel ideas This is part of a larger project, which I can’t explain as yet, but here goes. I’m thinking of trying to dig up the novels again. I’ve posted several of them here before. Some people read them but I never tried, and sure enough, neither did anyone else. I think one of the reasons, was that I never outlined the plots before I put the first chapters down. The Wraiths The Wraiths (or the Cult of the Black Wraiths) was a science fiction story about a company which designs a war games... Sign in to see full entry.

Keeping up
Keeping up This is just a note to say thank you for all those who have been reading this blog. I must admit I like the idea of creative writing just as a form of therapy. Happy times. I watched an episode of: “My name is Earl” on TV. And they have a sketch where they all took turns in escaping into their own imaginations. In a way I think that’s what these blogs do for us. We escape into a virtual reality where anything is possible. Much cheaper than Second Life, and providing a little more... Sign in to see full entry.

And so to therapy
And so to therapy I haven’t written for a long time because I’ve a lot on my mind, and to spout it all out looks like nonsense. These Blogs are just an extension of my diary. Something else I’ve not touched in ages. There was a time when I seriously contemplated looking back in my diaries to study my interesting life. It took about 5 minutes to decide that it was too boring to go on. But I do miss writing. I miss story telling. I’ve posted bits of novels up but so few have read them it seems... The future?
Hols and thoughts Wondering what to do one the holiday that’s coming up. Two weeks is a long time, and even though I haven’t the money to go any where really, I would like to do something to mark it. Wondering about a trip to London to see Parliament. I might feel a buzz for that. Of course I’m on the edge of just clearing off somewhere, but there is just too must to do here. What with learning (or relearning) my book-keeping skills, and of course there are always plenty of book to catalogue on... Sign in to see full entry.

Recession!
Recession! The media are currently riding one of their favourite hobby horses and prediction (no encouraging) a recession. They love to plunge us into gloom and misery to the point of hysteria, that I spotted something strange. I read a lot of self help books. People like me with little back bone for real life, often feel wrecked with self doubt to the point that you need something more than Karl Marx or the Bible to stiffen you up again. Tony Robbins is a very clever writer I admire in the... Sign in to see full entry.

Continuing blogging?
Continuing blogging? If like me, you find writing any blog is becoming a boor I was heartened by a comment on Araila’s blog where someone said that the money is so poor, this must be done solely for therapy. Reading the news I think we are heading for a real recession. The Credit crunch; crazy house prices and the relentless march of Chinese products and globalisation, all point to a world heading for a real bump! In a way I welcome this. I remember listening to a radio story about the Walton’s.... Sign in to see full entry.

Gravesend!
Gravesend! Here in the UK we are facing a petrol shortage due to the fuel company trying to take money from the pension scheme of its own workers. Their argument is that they workers have to suffer because they have done the same to poor developing countries, and if they don’t give in, the work will be moved. Workers on both side of the globe will suffer, but at least the multi nationals will make a fat profit to move off-shore to avoid tax. They will do it, because they can, and there is...
