Weather Here in the UK, we have had one of the worst summers in my memory. Harsher than 1976, when I left school. And the thing which struck me, is the same problem that faces the whole world. Water. How do we get large amounts of water to where we want it? It can only be fresh water, as salt water would simply make things worse. There are places where salt water would be ok. Like salt marshes near river deltas. But the matter still remains- where's the water? I'm of the generation that thought... Sign in to see full entry.
