Having had a look around F-book(site) I saw a page dedicated to my old school: Great Casterton community collage. This got me thinking. Haven't made any entries purely because so little has happened. Work and sleep. On a brighter note, I've finally given up on Ebay and it's cruel fee system, and thrown them up for a site called Ebid. The same, but they don't charge massive fees. They don't get the traffic either! So weigh up the odds. Magick and the lottery take up most of my interest. I can get one, and sometimes, 2 numbers. Have you ever read back through your old Diaries and wondered who that person was? Over the last few days I've been leafing through my old works and trying to make sense of them. Some are not even diaries, but jottings in a note book. Few of them make any sense and the whole thing brings me down a little. The idiots that run the world's largest auction site have finally backed down and agreed to wave the Free P&P. This means you don't have to find a way around the stupid rule which means you have to either give your books away for nothing, or spend so much on fees, that you would never make a profit. One thing has become clear to me when it comes to making a living from writing on line. And that is you can't afford to put too much emotion into your work. I've chosen several wonderful subjects which are dear to my heart, but sadly I treat them in the same way I would creating a work of fiction. If I don't feel the heat of battle rising in me, I feel there is some thing wrong. I have to me really on fire for a piece to make it. I can't be detached and cold from it. The future of TV is you Tube, like it or not. But it may answer many of our questions about what we really like. By far the most popular site on the Internet, it's secret is simply down to our own laziness, and the fact that we would sooner look at a small movie than read an article. I've been searching for a subject to write about on a big scale. This is to launch a commercial project on the net to make some money through Adsense and the like. I've tried various projects in the past. House building, Green issues, and some very dark and dangerous passages, which I dare not revisit. After a very slow start to the year, I’ve decided to place a huge job lot on Ebay to try and clear the shelves. I’ve done this in the past but have had mixed reactions, once getting involved with a very disagreeable fellow! But it does work and you can get a modest amount of money for the lot. I won’t try and convert the currencies, but it works out that a box costs about a tenner and I think I can put together 10 boxes. One idea which has always grabbed my imagination, is the Blitzing of web sites with junk E-books. There is an argument that if you have enough stuff out there you will get enough traffic and be able to funnel it to paying sites. Of course you need traffic that competes with the big boys to get even a part time income, but I just can't turn my back on the idea!
