I caught Sarah in tears today, and I think it's all linked in with the changes at work. Well it's the day of the presentations for the silly qualifications, and guess what? The manager changed the hours to suit him and messed it up for everyone else. If you were wondering how the gambling is going, well here's an interesting story. On Thursday I won 6 quid. Bringing my grand total to 14.00 the most I've ever had on the racing account. Saturday I just broke even, with about 0.40 profit. Today I gambled about 7 pounds and I'm 4 pounds down. The account stands at 10.00. Where it was on Thursday! I find it a struggle to fill these pages nowadays. It's just work and sleep with a lot of bright ideas in between and little else. So far I'm 0.50 up on the deal. I gambled a pound and I'm now fifty pence better off. I'd convert it to Dollars but it's hardly worth it. I'm tempted to move the decimal place a few times, which would make me 50 pounds better off, nearly 2 days pay for me, but I have to test the system for another few weeks before putting any serious money up. Last night I watched a TV show about the history of Pop music. One of the talking heads was Pete Townsend of the Who. Something he said struck home for me. They were the generation who had to live in the shadow of the Post war heroes, and he said:" sadly for us they F******* won!" Up till now I have made a modest amount of money. If I were to move the decimal point a couple of times. I would be making the same sort of money I once made on ebay selling books. But this is a trial and I'm not prepared to put too much money on it yet. Once again I have searched for a way of making steady money without doing a days honest work. Now people call these MLM's or Networking, but I've tried them all and there are few I can be bothered with.
