When I look back, one stunning fact hits me between the eyes. Recently I've gone through a period of self reflection and re-discovering the past. Now this mainly takes the form of find the old TV shows I watched back as a kid, and trying to remember what I felt like once I had watched them. I'm at an interesting crossroads now. I'm just on the cusp of launching a mass of traffic to the Tinwellbooks website, but what bothers me, is that people will treat it as spam. Sure, you can pay for huge amounts of spam. For a few hundred dollars, you can get a lot of traffic to the site. But there would be nothing of quality and little chance of anyone clicking on my main money source, which would be the Clickbank Hoplink. Having just paid the invoice for the annual fees, I feel I should say something on the blog, even if nothing has happened to me. The 2 test sites are going well,and I'm cheered by the things I've read where people seem to make reasonable money with affiliates and Clickband. Up till now I've no real evidence other than the word of honour of a few people I feel I trust. The real problem is, that I've nothing to fill them with, other than snippets of articles. Some good news for once. I've brought back the domain name Tinwellbooks.com This was the first web site I ever brought, and one I did a lot of work on. Sure, it was never used once I let it slip, but it's back with me now. The site was brought up by some company that could sweep up all useless domain names, and turned it into a site selling quack remedies. So it will have got no traffic and a lot of bad attitude. I have not used Adlandpro for years and forgot all about it. But it does get listed quite high on the free advertising circuit. I once linked the main page with blogit to try and drum up some trade with my Writers Wanted site. But it never worked out. I think it was because I never had the killer instinct to make money out of people. Sadly, as I've said before on these pages, MLM is the only game in town. This is more a statement to myself, and not really for anyone else to find any deep meaning in it. Tonight I listened to an old cassette tape from 1990. I was 30 then and it brought back some memories, not all of them good, but everyone important. Here I want to state that I remember that man back then, and I remember the promises I made.
