What makes a Website?

Having wracked my brains over the years, about what I should put on a website, I’m somewhere near an answer. The golden rule, is to only do things which interest you. I’ve grounded these down to a few subjects. Science fiction, Importing/exporting, and writing. There are a lot more, but these are the ones which grab me for now. Quality and honesty

One thing which poses a dilemma, is the quality of the traffic you could bring to your site. One carefully and crafted article, or video, can attract a lot of attention. You can interact with your audience, and get engrossed in the cross table banter on the subject, but at the end of the day, it stops there. Clickbank and EzineArticles

Clickbank and EzineArticles These are 2 of the biggest sites on web. Clickbank is there purely to make money, and the court is open, if you can or can’t. Ezinearticle is THE place writers go when they want people to actually read their work. One of the sad irony’s is, that the stuff on this site is every bit as good as what you’ll find on their site. Traffic

This is just a note to let you know how things are going. The website is coming on. I’ve taken a big gamble and make some soft porn videos on U-tube, then linked them all into the site. I’ve had more back links through that, in the last week, than the all the articles I’ve written in 10 years. Now this is not much, and up to date I have not made a penny from it. With the threat that my life is taking a negative down turn, I think the only way out is to try and make some money on the net. I’ve tried over the years to figure out a way to get traffic is the sites I make, and I think one of the best ways is to exploit Trending. This is just the art of posting up what other people are looking for. Social Media and Utopia

You might read this and think: “what trip is he on now?” But here is what I’m getting at. I work on a lot of sites, through a lot of different social forums. But something keeps me coming back here. Websites everywhere.

It is only the creation of websites and the money from them, which will save me now. I own 2 important sites: www.tinwellbooks.co.uk and tinwellbooks.info These are pretty lame titles bit they are only test beds. Although I don’t put a lot of stock in SEO and all that nonsense. The best way to get traffic is through links from other sites, or best of all: titles on Youtube. I have searched for more stuff on that than anything else. North Korea

I am horrified by the way all the big bully boys have encouraged this lunatic to make the statements he has, over nuclear weapons. Sure enough, in a real war the US could take them out in the same way Iraq, Libya and the other stone age societies have fallen. In truth, they would not last 24 hours before they are neutralised as a threat. Even with atomic missiles, they have so much awesome power at their hands, it would just end up like a video game. Atheists v aliens

Interesting article in my daily paper the other day. When Charles Darwin published the Origin of species, he set off a chain reaction which crossed over to the occult world. At the time in Victorian England, religion was under attack. Dogging up the bones of Dinosaurs meant that the world was a lot older than the bible was telling us, and people began to really question the whole nature of religion. Was any of it believable? Facing your worse fears I know that this is a very over-done phrase today, but having just watched an episode of Doctor Who, something suddenly struck me. If I was to face my darkest fears, they must be from childhood, like the little boy in the story. In that sense the thing I feared most in childhood, was rejection.
