Here’s the latest on the scheme I’ve joined. Up till now, I’ve managed to get round many of the problems with being in England having to do everything through a US bank. Namely the IBAC’s codes. However, there are a few problems. The main sponcer I’ve signed up under, a MR DB turns out to be not the full ticket. I’m all for helping special needs people, but not with my money. I’ve just signed up to the savings highway programme. Even though it’s mostly based in the US, I’m hopeful that there will be some benefits for me here in the UK. Up till now it’s cost me $320 up-front, plus a further $149.99 a month. You might be sitting there thinking: “he can kiss that goodbye,” and maybe I can. But I sent it all through Paypal, with a promised note that it can all be refunded, if it all goes tits up. I have the emails, which would even stand up in court, if it came to it.... I feel I have to tell someone about this, if only for my own mental health. I’m seriously thinking about signing up under a couple of MLM schemes. I know these are no better than pyramid scams, but I’m so desperate for money I feel I should take the gamble. Having wracked my brains over the years, about what I should put on a website, I’m somewhere near an answer. The golden rule, is to only do things which interest you. I’ve grounded these down to a few subjects. Science fiction, Importing/exporting, and writing. There are a lot more, but these are the ones which grab me for now. One thing which poses a dilemma, is the quality of the traffic you could bring to your site. One carefully and crafted article, or video, can attract a lot of attention. You can interact with your audience, and get engrossed in the cross table banter on the subject, but at the end of the day, it stops there. Clickbank and EzineArticles These are 2 of the biggest sites on web. Clickbank is there purely to make money, and the court is open, if you can or can’t. Ezinearticle is THE place writers go when they want people to actually read their work. One of the sad irony’s is, that the stuff on this site is every bit as good as what you’ll find on their site. This is just a note to let you know how things are going. The website is coming on. I’ve taken a big gamble and make some soft porn videos on U-tube, then linked them all into the site. I’ve had more back links through that, in the last week, than the all the articles I’ve written in 10 years. Now this is not much, and up to date I have not made a penny from it. With the threat that my life is taking a negative down turn, I think the only way out is to try and make some money on the net. I’ve tried over the years to figure out a way to get traffic is the sites I make, and I think one of the best ways is to exploit Trending. This is just the art of posting up what other people are looking for. It is only the creation of websites and the money from them, which will save me now. I own 2 important sites: www.tinwellbooks.co.uk and tinwellbooks.info These are pretty lame titles bit they are only test beds. Although I don’t put a lot of stock in SEO and all that nonsense. The best way to get traffic is through links from other sites, or best of all: titles on Youtube. I have searched for more stuff on that than anything else.
