I only play the numbers in the Irish state lottery, as I find these the easiest to predict. Remember this is just for fun. I've never got more than 3 and only play for pennies. here in the UK, the best way to do it is through Coral's website. But only for pennies. I find the trick is to let the same numbers roll over for 2 or 3 days, and they usually come up. It's not like the Nasdaq which is easier to short just lately. Please don't take this seriously. Well so little has happened since the last entry, I feel guilty at not posting. But some things have happened. We are still here and things are going OK. We finally had a result on the House rent, and they only put the rent up £30 a month. So a big sigh of relief. I always get an empty feeling after a great victory, as if I felt guilty for nothing, and maybe it would have worked itself out anyway? But it's better, to tell the truth. I haven't written of late as I've not done much and I'm too preoccupied with the stock market. We are down but not out. Waiting for things to come around. Optimistic, but frustrated that things are not moving faster. As for England? People not taking any notice of Covid advice. Looks like this will be with us into the new year. Happy Christmas! Just watched a video on youtube which is like a throw-back to 10 years ago. I once followed a guy who sold a pyramid scheme called Traffic Monsoon, and he's still in jail. I stumbled upon a video about a guy claiming you can make money from writing articles. Now I have had a go at this in the past and it was just too boring to carry on. Plus I was not convinced there was any real money in it. But I only have one real income stream (currency trading) and there are times when it's as calm as a millpond. So I might have to consider another. Some of these are little better than pyramid selling and I do not recommend that. But I will keep you posted on any serious... Sign in to see full entry.

well, we had a stay of execution for today. They sent the office junior to do an assessment, and usually, the rent review follows. She never mentioned it, so maybe that's a good sign. Hope I'm being an old woman about all this, but it's a worry we can do without. What with the COVID virtually wiping out the economy, it's a cruel cold world. We have a big decision ahead of us tomorrow. Living in a rented house, we are subject to rent reviews. I live with my Mum and together we bring in enough to pay for everything. But any increase will break the bank. I can't bring in any more and even surrendering what little pension money I have left will not be enough to cover any increases. There is no way I can earn any more money, so we face an uncertain future. I can't see my way out of it, and all I can do is hope and pray we escape any... Sign in to see full entry.
