I love talking with writers because they always have a beautiful way of describing things. Today while talking with a friend and she made the most beautiful comment I have ever heard. A good book and a cup of tea

UGH Appliances!

So my dryer died today...actually yesterday. I drug myself out of bed at 5:00 this morning to do laundry so I would only have to make one trip to the laundry-mat. We must have had Maggie's winds

I didn't think we had winds such as Maggie was describing until I decided to go check the shed for my missing Christmas stuff. This is what is in my year from our box elder tree. This is a bit much!

So in the past 12 hours my power has gone out twice and it's raining like crazy, it's also rather cold. I need to go to the store and I kind of afraid to discover that the roads are bad.
