Though we never got any hurricanes this year
Many states still got huge flooding/wind/storm/tornado disasters. People don't pay as much attention to these types of storms as they do hurricanes but a tree thru your roof is always a bad thing no matter how it happened...LOL.

Good to find you writing again. I am so glad the tree went the way it did. Be blessed.

Hey Bel, did you find the address of that soldier that you wanted us to
write to? I got your email and that's cool, we'd be more than happy to write to him or anybody else that would like correspondence.

Winds of that velocity are definitely alarming. I am glad the tree didn't hit your house. Stay safe and I hope it quiets soon!

You're right, Blanche, I'm wishing that for both of us. They just had a tornado touch down 30 miles east of Pittsburgh - that has already passed us, but there's more coming. I'm not sure, but I don't think it's the same weather system affecting you, bel, as is affecting us. No matter though, it's just as bad. The winds are very scarey. Some of the trees that border my neighbor's yard are 80 ft high. They are singing - so scarey. I'm with you, bel, I'd rather have snow or rain, than have wind.

Goodness Maggie
I really hope they go away very, very soon! I would rather have ice and snow over the winds.
