Hmmmmm.
What about an article on how to make an unexpected visit to the laundry mat more enjoyable (if that is even possible)?  Sounds like you might have some encounters coming up with laundry mats??  Why not put them to use?

I swear I will never go to a laundramat again...
All I can remember is watching the washer or drying and wondering what may have been washed in the just before I used it.....think about those possibilities....

Last year my mother's dryer went out. No laundry mat for her, however. Not when my brother and I have comfortable homes with perfectly good dryers. After a few weeks of hauling laundry back and forth, we chipped in and bought her a new one, along with a washing machine too.

bel_1965...

I am always thankful to have an, in house washer and dryer.  I remember dragging those baskets in and out of the vehicle.  Hope you get your machine working soon!  Laundromats are even higher now than they use to be, and then it was ridiculous.

Congratulations on your new project.  I think that is neat.

I have power, just no heat...but maybe I should check anyway...if that is all it is I am going to scream!!!

when my dryer "died", it was because there was a jam of lint in the hose
that fed to the air outside.  i unplugged the machine and opened it, unhooked the hose, cleaned out all lingering traces of lint and voila! power and heat.
