Play with your food!

I love to cook, and bake. There's something very satisfying about taking a pile of raw food, and turning it into something savory and delicious. City Girl meets Hicksville

I've always lived in the big city. I'm one of a few residents of this place that can honestly say they were born and raised here. Mark and I had a quiet sort of day today. We cleaned the house. I worked on the puzzle while he read some automotive magazine. When I said "sharpen", I meant actually SHARPEN them!

Mark and I took our skates in to have them sharpened last week. We went to the local Sports Chek, because we were already going to stop there anyways, and it's cheap. Are you insane - my books are NOT for sale!

I used to have 3 bookshelves in my house. They were all quite small, and my book collection was out of control. half of the books didn't fit on the shelves, and they were scattered all over the place. It's finally starting to warm up a bit outside. We're no where near a reasonable temperature yet, but at least it's not dangerously cold today - only about -32 with the wind chill. Mind Numbing Cold

The city was plunged into winter overnight. Today, the temperature is a face freezing -46 degrees outside. It's too cold to snow.
