Dive right in!

When I was about 9 or 10 years old, our parents would send us to swimming lessons at the lake in early June. This lake (in Minnesota ) was not even at a 65 degree water temperature in early June. Mr. Short Beak

I was living in a studio apartment, near the beach. It had a little rooftop patio and I loved living there. One of my friends was a blue jay that I named ‘Mr. Short Beak.’ He had a broken lower beak and would come to my window every day for peanuts. I looked forward to his visits and always made... Home safely...

Is blogit like a karaoke bar? (Blogging from Arizona II)

Last night we went to the oldest bar in Prescott with one of my sister's new friends, Al, for a few beers. It was a really cool place-- beautiful cherrywood surroundings, sheep and buffalo heads on the wall, and lots of crazy characters milling around. Evidently, the bar was at one time dragged out... Blogging from Arizona

It was a beautiful trip over here. Tonight, I started up my computer and found out that my sister has wireless. We are having a really good time! Really looking forward to my trip tomorrow...

Whew, what a busy day! What planet is this? A hotbed of consumerism!

Today we rode our bikes to the bookstore at a big mall. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been there; walking through it, I was reminded the vast variety of ‘things’ for sale.
