Expect tears. Expect them to be mad if they "can't" cry...
They know you love them.  Tell 'em the new teacher will love them, too. :)

Nanaroo...
You touched their lives in a positive way! Even though you must say "goodbye," you know you gave of yourself to make their world a better place and that is something to feel good about.  Saying "goodbye," is always difficult for me too!

I've never been good at saying goodbye, either...

That's why I avoid it as often as possible... sadly.

Nana,
I wish I could give advice, but I can't. I think it's difficult for most people, for some more so than others. I am definitely one of the "more so's", which is why my goodbye's sometimes end up being awkward...

Nanaroo, I've always found it hard to say goodbye, especially when it has to do with children or geriatrics.

It is always so hard to say" Good Bye". Be brave.

Well, they would graduate out of your class anyway.  Yes, you'll miss them but it was not meant to be forever.

Nanaroo,

I'm no good at goodbye, either.  Just enjoy what time you have left with the kids and know they'll remember you and miss you...

oh, no doubt, i'd shed tears. but once my feet were pointed in the new
direction, i'd be gone with smiles and a warm heart.
