Teachers should have the last word
in this kind of situation.  It seems a waste to make the whole class dumbed down because a troublesome, immature student must be catered to.  If you have to take him back, give him double homework until he catches up.

Nanaroo, that's the un-fun part about teaching, I'll bet. The parents.
I wish the principal would have backed you. You're right, one kid disrupting 30 is not even good math.
