I am so sick and tired of Student Government. I’m dividing this post (actually a rant) into several sections, because you are going to get bored very quickly of my complaining. I've been a senator in Student Government for the past two years. I really like it; but lately I’ve gotten pissed off at some of the things that have been going on. SG is organized so that there are four executives, and 19 senators representing each of the six dorms on campus. Lat year I ran for the position of SG... Sign in to see full entry.

Sunday evening ramblings
Today I was startled to see that this blog hit #32 on the "most popular list in "journal." I was flipping through the top blogs in that catergory, looking for something to read, and there it was. That startled me, because I'd never been ranked that high before. I'm not going to say that I don't care about my rankings, because now that I know how highly I'm ranked, I do care. Thats why I always carry around a jacket/ sweater/ sweatshirt with me, even during the summer. I've got tons of extra blankets stored in my closet, and I've even begun to use some of them at night this early in the fall. Its not that I'm sick or anything,... Sign in to see full entry.
Control freaks
If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I'm the Assistant Editor of the Helianthus, R-MWC's yearbook. Working on the staff of the yearbook of a small college is a lot different than working on the staff of a yearbook at a learger school. We have a lot fewer people interested in working for us, and we have a lot fewer resources (especially money) to work with. Its no surprise then, that most of the work will usually fall to the editor-in-chief and assistant editor. The editor-in-chief... Sign in to see full entry.
