Day five of internship

Day 5 was spent in the usual way- sitting around the office playing Family Feud, reading, me doing crossword puzzles (its not as dorky as you might think- its a great way to build brain muscle. I highly recommend the ones by Dell). It was the last day for the other interns, and it was the last day in which Congress was in session before recess. First entry!

Hey! My name is Katherine, and I'm a 21-year-old student at Randolph-Macon Woman's College. One day I hope to either be a writer myself or go into publishing. In the meantime, I'm doing this. Hopefully it will get some of my writing out there and noticed. Hopefully. This summer I'm working as an intern on Capitor Hill, in the office of Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa).
