Good for you
I have developed the horrible habit of keeping the TV on all day as background noise. Mostly it's the channels that just play music, because my stereo broke down. But somewhere in the back of my head is my parents telling me to turn off the TV and do homework.

Not too much TV
Nah. That's actually not a lot at all compared to what most people probably watch. I myself watch at least an hour a day (not counting news). I love CSI, Law & Order, and on Sci-fi I watch Ghost Hunters every week.
