Henry

My family has two Welsh Springer Spaniels. Henry is ten; Teddy is three. Both are wonderful dogs; Henry is kind, sweet, and extremely loving. Teddy is the complete opposite: he's high-energy, and not the brightest crayon in the box (he also likes to watch TV, but thats another post altogether). Henry has begun having health problems that are extremely worrisome. He was the runt of his litter, so I think he always had to make up for his size through intelligence. The apartment

My friend and I found an apartment! Its a great 2 BR in Brooklyn, a 3rd floor walkup but absolutely fantastic nonethless. Because my friend is a med school student, and because I have no job as of yet, our parents are our guarantors. We move in next weekend and I can't wait! Now for the hard part: finding a job... Oh, I'm seething right now. There was this girl in my publishing program. She was only interested in books--so she only came to the book publishing part of the program. Then, when it came time to switch to magazines, she "unofficially dropped out" of the class! That is, she never came to class, and didn't do any of the group work that was assigned to her. Hey, there

Its been a long time since I wrote last--November. I just didn't have all that much time. Lat fall saw me beginning my senior year of college. I graduated this past spring from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and spent this past summer participating in a Summer Publishing Institute at NYU. The course was six weeks long and intensive, 9 am to 5 pm every day; half of it focused on books and the other half was about magazines.
