There's a family who lives down on the first floor of my building. They have two children; one age two, the other two months. R and I are not perfect neighbors, but we try our best. The wife is very passive-agressive with regards to complaints about various things. For example, she leaves notes on the front door when something arises that she doesn't like. Two months ago, her complaint was about smoking in the building. Now, it's against regulations so she has a point, but the message went... Sign in to see full entry.
Kegstands, crushes, and more
Last night was another crazy night out with what I like to refer to as R's "gang" from med school. M came back and we ate dinner at Chipotle, a place I hate but consented to eat there because a) I was hungry and b) I'm a good friend. After dinner we went to the house of a friend of R's from med school and his wife; the wife was having a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness with two kegs but the party turned out to be one of those drinking fests that everyone loves so much. Friday night fun
Last night R, M, a med school friend of R's and his wife, and I went to see The Departed. M had come over to our place briefly beforehand; you should just give me a burka and ship me off to a third-world country, because I was totally tongue-tied and couldn't think of anything, I mean anything, to say to him! High school and all that jazz...
When I was a senior in high school I had a crush on my math teacher, Mr. W. It was my very first full-on crush, and I look back on it fondly. I call him "Mr. W" not only for anonymity but also because he had one of those long, drawn-out Polish last names that many people can't pronounce. At the time, in 2002, he was in his late 20s, single, and very cute. At least, all his female students thought so! Anyways, I was in a class of about 11 students, in which I was one of three girls. The school I... Sign in to see full entry.

Great sexpectations
*Warning, this post contains a lot of SEX. Is it better to have friends with benefits, or to be in serious relationships? This is a question I've been pondering all afternoon. When I talk about friends with benefits, I mean having sex monogamously with a friend. Personally, I'm in favor of the idea of having friends with benefits. One-night things are too random; you don't know what you're getting. Relationships are the opposite: you know exactly what's coming. When you're in a relationship with... Sign in to see full entry.
