I just wanted to give you an update on what's happened in the past 24 hours or so. My dad was here to visit yesterday afternoon, which is a weekly habit he's gotten into. He likes giving me career advice and keeping me on track. Since his retirement, my dad works as a consultant, advising people on the paths thier careers might take. He does some of his work at nearby Villanova University and in his free time he drives up here and coaches me as well. He took me out to dinner at this cute little... Sign in to see full entry.

What did you accomplish in October?
Since the month is an hour and a half away from being over, at least here on the East Coast, I wanted to spend a little bit of time regrouping and talking about what my goals were and what I accomplished this month. Why is this, do you think? I think Halloween is one of the few non-denominational holidays out there, so its democratic,... Sign in to see full entry.

What is wrong with me?
I made brownies (my roommate has his block exams today and I thought I'd make him a treat), did laundry (sheets and towels, no less, plus the regular clothes!), and cleaned my room, the eating area, and the kitchen--all in one afternoon! Last week R suggested that we break up the cleaning of the apartment--he does three areas (his room, bathroom, living room) and I do three areas (my room, kitchen, eating area), and then we switch for the next time. I was supposed to do mine this weekend but... Sign in to see full entry.
