First Snow of the Season

Some Saturday highlights. We received our first snow of the season yesterday. For us, this is a perfect snow. We received about two inches on grass. Little snow stuck on the roadways. Whole Lotta Cops

I have seen three people pulled over so far today during my travels. And no, I am not any of them. It must be quota time for the police. I was once told by a lawyer I know that cops have to reach their quota by the months of March, June, September and December. That looks to be true today.... Sign in to see full entry.

Location Y Today

Norv Cameron has owned Location Y for about a year now. He did not come into an easy situation. Norv had no experience operating car washes. I do not know what he did before buying the car wash. Slowcember

December has been a slow month thus far. The slowness is not unique to us. Dad has talked to a few car wash operators who have said that they are experiencing slowness as well. New Competition

While I was sick a couple weeks ago, a new competitor opened up near Location B. The car wash is a full-service one. The inside and outside vehicles are clean.
